Learn all about resumes and cover letters from the Learning Express Library available from the Michigan Electronic Library (MeL).

You can access the Learning Express Library from our Databases page, under the Careers heading.  You must make an account in-library first, but after that you can access the Learning Express Library at any time, from home or any internet-connected computer.  Learning Express Library also has study materials for a variety of tests and exams.

Your library has a large collection of books that provide examples and advice on creating a cover letter and resume that will best suit your skills and the job that you are applying for.  They also have dedicated word-processing computers for your use.

Additionally, your library periodically hosts seminars with knowledgeable professionals.  Check the quarterly newsletter or the Calendar of Events for upcoming job-related programs.
